Update on Trade for All consultation
Tēnā koe
I’d like to share with you a quick update on the Trade for All consultation.
Summary of public feedback now available
We heard a wide range of perspectives on trade through the public consultation phase which ran from 6 August to 14 October.  New Zealanders made comments and submissions via the Have your Say website, email, and at 15 public meetings and 11 hui focusing on Māori throughout the country.   A summary of this feedback was produced for us by independent research organisation PublicVoice, and is now available on our Trade for All webpage
Trade for All Advisory Board members announced
The next phase of the consultation sits with the Trade for All Advisory Board. The Board is independent of government and will make its recommendations to the Minister for Trade and Export Growth. Those recommendations, together with New Zealanders’ views shared through consultation, will contribute to the development of a Trade for All agenda.  Yesterday, the Chair of the Board announced the members of the Board - visit for this announcement and further information about the Board and its work.
